If the Quran indeed constitutes divine revelation, then Jihad would be morally obligated, as its mandate is established by a deity whose nature is declared to be good (Surah 29:69).
The Quran states: “Do they not consider the Qur’an? If it was from other than Allah, they would have found in it many inconsistencies” (Surah 4:82). This provides us with a litmus test for assessing the Quran. With a critical eye and intellectual rigor, the author explores the Quran according to its own standards for testing this religion.
